The AM4INFRA project is building a common framework for a European life-cycle based asset management approach for transport infrastructure. To embed and verify elements of the framework approach into real life scenarios and practices and to learn from this reality over time, the Living Labs concept has been chosen.
Living Lab M4 London
AM4INFRA – A common language for whole life cycle costing and risk based models
The Living Lab M4 London will focus on the applicability of the life cycle and risk-based management element of the common framework. The London Living Lab will concentrate on the M4 (London – Wales) motorway and its connections in the area such as the M25 and London Heathrow airport.
Main goal of Living Lab: demonstrate how whole life cost, life cycle engineering and risk based approaches can be integrated to deliver benefits and desired outcomes for road users as well as the asset owners.
